Editing by hand, presenting, sharing and viewing shared decks, exporting to HTML, duplicating decks and restoring earlier versions are never counted.

Nothing is lost and nothing breaks. Your decks stay safe and you can still edit, present, share and export them. Only that kind of AI work waits for your allowance to renew, and we tell you the date. Or upgrade and carry on right away.
You always know where you stand
The deck composer shows how many AI slides you have left before you create anything, and Plan & usage in your settings shows every meter and when it resets. A failed or cancelled deck costs nothing.

Limits and billing, plainly
What counts toward my limits?
Only work our AI does for you: the slides it writes when it builds a deck, the changes it makes when you ask in the chat, and the pictures it creates. Editing slides by hand, presenting, sharing, viewing shared decks, exporting and duplicating decks never count.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing is lost and nothing breaks. Your decks stay safe, and you can still edit them by hand, present, share and export. Only that kind of AI work pauses until your allowance renews, and we tell you the date. You can upgrade at any time to carry on right away.
When do my allowances renew?
On the Free plan, on the first day of each calendar month (UTC). On Pro and Team, at the start of each billing period. Unused AI slides, edits and images don't carry over. Your usage and renewal date are always shown under Plan & usage in your settings.
Does a deck that fails still use my slides?
No. If a deck fails or you cancel it, the slides it reserved go straight back to your allowance. Detail cards DeckLume adds to a deck count as slides, so the number you see is the number of slides in the finished deck.
Can I try DeckLume before paying?
Yes. The free plan has no time limit and doesn't ask for a card. Use it on real work and upgrade when you need more.
How do I upgrade or cancel?
From Plan & billing in your settings. Payments are handled by Stripe. Upgrades start straight away and the difference is prorated. Moving to a cheaper plan, or to a shorter billing period, takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. You can also cancel, update your card or download invoices in the billing portal.
What happens to my decks if I cancel?
You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to the free plan. Your decks and files stay in your account and links you've already shared keep working; you can't upload more files or share more links until you're back under the free plan's limits. Anything you've downloaded is yours: each deck is a single HTML file that keeps working without DeckLume.
Do you charge VAT?
Prices are in euros. At checkout, Stripe can show and charge the price in your own currency. Where VAT or sales tax applies, it's calculated and shown there too.
